Needle felting is a technique that uses a barbed needle to poke wool in a repetitive motion. This motion tangles the strands of the wool which makes the sculpture denser and stiffer.
In this 3 hour beginner workshop, participants will learn the basics of needle felting and will receive a starter kit (includes a needle, felting mat, coloured wool, ornament supplies). We will focus on key techniques to needle felt two snowman ornaments and go over tips helpful for touching up and adding details to the piece.
This is a great introductory workshop for those wishing to explore needle felting, pick up a new craft or challenge themselves before the year ends. These ornaments are perfect décor pieces and work well as handmade gifts for your family and friends this holiday!
*All supplies will be provided in your needle felting starter kit that you will take home
